Time to Take Responsibility . Our Origin Story

AY Asher Apparel Icon Owl. Take Responsibility

The question is often asked, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY? But, the question that should be asked is, WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR YOURSELF LATELY? There can can be no more important thing to do for yourself then wake up and Take Responsibility. Often times, when faced with adversity’s, trials and tribulations, we all want to be Job. The good man that was tormented for no apparent reason. We all see ourselves as Saints, holier than thou and when trials and tribulations, fall upon us we feel as though they are unwarranted. But this line is not for the Jobs, this line is for the Prodigal’s. The princes and princesses that turned to peasants due to their own actions. You see I had to come to a realization that I had to stop blaming people and take responsibility for my actions. I talk more about this on my personal site TruJNJ.
There is no better example of this than the prodigal son, the son. Whose father treated him like a prince and he chose to take his inheritance and leave home to go his own way. Based on his actions and his prideful intentions he ended up in the pigsty. Now here is the main point, instead of blaming the world and blaming others he looked around realized the mistake that he made, clean himself up went back home to his father and took responsibility for his actions.
And that is what AY Asher seeks to promote, the people who look around and say, this is my fault, I blew it, but what am I going to now. You might want to cry and complain, or do can take responsibility for my downfall while also taking responsibility of picking myself back up. Do to my disability, I realized I didn’t see disabled people represented in the fashion industry, or entertainment industry. I felt as though there was no way for people with disabilities to be fashionable due to the lack of proper physical image. AY Asher was born to try and change that.
